I'm Anne-Marie Coakley, founder of Coakley Learning Services. After 15 years in the classroom, more than a decade providing individualized literacy intervention, earning my master's degree as a Reading Specialist, and becoming a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP) and Certified Dyslexia Practitioner, I discovered where I could make the greatest impact: helping students become confident, capable learners while supporting the families and educators who guide them.
I work with students with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, processing challenges, executive functioning needs, and other literacy-related learning difficulties through evidence-based instruction grounded in the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.
I believe confidence is the foundation of learning. When children believe in themselves, they're more willing to take risks, persevere through challenges, and discover the joy of learning. Every session is designed to strengthen literacy skills while building resilience, independence, and lasting confidence.
Today, I provide individualized intervention for students while partnering with schools through literacy consulting, coaching, and professional development. My mission is simple: to empower students, families, and educators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to help every learner succeed.

Titan's Foundation Partnership:
As a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP), I partner with the Titans Foundation to support schools implementing the Language Foundations curriculum, a structured literacy program grounded in the Science of Reading. Kind Words:
The greatest compliment I can receive is the trust of the families and schools I serve. Here are a few of their experiences working with Coakley Learning Services.
Anne-Marie Coakley has really saved our family. Our son’s diagnosis came as a surprise in Kindergarten and Anne-Marie did not waste time initiating therapy. She has become a steadfast presence in our family and an advocate for our son’s dyslexia treatment. Her flexibility and approachability made her a perfect fit for our busy family and school schedule. Our son adores Anne-Marie aka Mrs. Coakley. He looks forward to his sessions with her and really enjoys his time with her. Anne-Marie is extremely communicative and gives parents the updates they need to support and advocate for their children. She works seamlessly with our son’s school to provide services with minimal disruption to our son’s school schedule. Owen has met his academic goals from Anne-Marie’s expert tutoring and we are beyond grateful. She is the best! Her expert knowledge and advice to treat our son has been a true game changer. We strongly recommend her services.

Anne Marie Coakley is not only kind, and compassionate, but she is also a seasoned teacher. She meets
her students where they are and brings them to success by working hard, practicing unlimited patience,
and by always being present and loving her students. Any child would be lucky to work with her.
Frank English, Principal
Anne-Marie has tutored two of my children and done a great job. Their reading has improved and they enjoy their sessions with her. Anne-Marie is both well-trained and knows how to effectively interact with students; I work in education and know how rare that can be. I strongly recommend her.

Since starting reading tutoring with Anne-Marie Coakley, our son has flourished! Anne-Marie took time to get to know our son early on and made an immediate connection with him, setting him at ease. He frequently mentions how awesome she is and how much fun tutoring is! Not only has his reading skills improved exponentially, but his self confidence is rising and he no longer puts himself down. He actively reads road signs and his surroundings, wants to play games that require reading, and even helps his sibling with their homework! We can tell he feels more on pace with his classmates and has excelled in other subjects too! We are so happy with our decision to hire Anne-Marie!
